Deadly Combination

When we go to a party like college frat parties, we usually see a lot of alcohol and drugs. We might not use them but some others will and might even mix them together. The effect that is felt by mixing the two substances together might be of the scale but toxicity from it is deadly.

Overdose from either is seriously lethal so the combination will be twice as deadly. Alcohol is a substance that could cause damage to our neurons which could affect or normal brain function. Some effects of alcohol toxicity are slurred speech, shuffling gait, constricted pupils, acute respiratory failure, impaired judgment and death. The first three that mentioned are early sign of intoxication which leads to the other three mentioned. Alcoholism is one of the most known addictions most known to mankind and fact that it is legally sold everywhere makes it very accessible to drinkers.

Drugs on the other hand are a substance that is sold illegally due to the horrifying effects that have caused a lot of deaths all over the globe. Just to name some crystal meth, cocaine, opium, heroin and marijuana are just a few kinds of these illegal substances that are abused by many individuals. Drug addiction is a great problem that our community is facing and the longer we delay in taking action the more horrible situations will become.

Both substances are very harmful to our bodies and most importantly not to be taken together for it might cause endless complications leading to death. We should educate the young people as early as possible to divert their attention on drugs and alcohol.
