Whenever a person feels something wrong with their system such as they are sick or simply feel bad about their body, they know where they will run or turn to, same with drug and alcohol addictions, people who undergo such addictions can go to any treatment center they wish but before they decide what to choose, they should have enough knowledge about the condition and the best treatment for it especially when a certain person has a dual diagnosis condition.
Dual diagnosis is where a person experienced both mental disorder and substance abuse disorders (alcohol and/or drug independence or abuse). This can be treated in drug addiction treatment center or at alcohol treatment center hence it is also one of the reason of their existence. It is said that the most effective treatment of such condition is to treat it simultaneously since it has the combination of mental and substance abuse disorder.
