Reaching Toxicity

Our body is a tool used by us in many ways. We can do what we need and what we want with our body. Things like riding a bike, watching shows, playing sports or games, dancing and all other things. Without our body functioning well we can’t do a single thing or our actions are limited. And after all the hectic activities we rejuvenate our bodies through eating, resting and sleeping to prepare for another day.

But some individuals use there body’s capacity to the fullest. Drug and alcohol abuse is an example of that. Substance overdose is a very fatal thing to happen especially to a young, fragile body. Alcohol and drugs are known substances that can damage the brain that causes several medical conditions that can cause paralysis and worst of all death. Many have suffered these kinds of conditions especially individuals aging from 17 to 25 are common to be in this situation and should undergo detoxification. Detox treatment is needed and given to a person with substance toxicity. It is action of removing harmful substances in the body caused by overdose like drugs, alcohol and food. This is done usually when a person has reached the maximum capacity of the body and is now on a critical level with the pupils dilated, the skin is cold to touch and is very disoriented or unconscious.

Drug rehabilitation centers are keen on keeping these individuals off those addictive substances to pose a better way of living for them. Keeping a cleaner and safer lifestyle is the key in keeping our bodies in good working condition. The more we are aware of our body’s situation the more we can adjust to a healthy life.
